nextmedia has released its iPad version of green lifestyle title, G magazine. The magazine is now available to download in magshop’s iPad app for $7.99.
“We are very excited to bring a digital edition of G magazine to market,” says Emma Bowen, G magazine Editor. “An iPad version of the magazine allows us to continue to lead the publishing market in environmentally friendly choices. A recent article by G resulted in the findings that digital books and publications are the greener option over standard printed versions. While our printed magazine is already a sustainable option as it is carbon offset and printed on FSC-certified recycled paper, we have also had requests from both readers and advertisers for a digital version, and we’re happy to now provide this option.”
The iPad version of G magazine is the latest digital offering from the title which already has a strong online presence at www.gmagazine.com.au. “nextmedia is committed to growing its digital audience across a range of platforms– we’re sure the G iPad magazine will be as successful as our initial iPad-enabled title Motorsport eNews which has been a real hit with readers. ” says Commercial Director, Bruce Duncan.
The G iPad Magazine was created in conjunction with Network Digital Solutions. “This is the first digital magazine from an independent publisher to be available via our magshop app store” said Niall Murphy, Group General Manager of Network Services.
