One of Australia’s leading aircraft publications, Aero Australia, has a new home following acquisition of the title by Wilson Media from nextmedia. Wilson Media is owned by noted aviation author Stewart Wilson, founding Editor of Aero Australia
and his wife Wendy.
Aero Australia was launched 10 years ago and prides itself in not only telling the full story behind the latest developments in aviation but looks back at the many pioneers of the skies. From the first flight in 1903 to today, Aero Australia covers everything
from military aircraft to general aviation for anyone who loves flying.
Commenting on the acquisition of Aero Australia, Stewart Wilson said: “Wendy and I are delighted to be taking over the magazine we established more than a decade ago and have nurtured its development since then. There is a real sense of ‘family’ with our readers, contributors and advertisers and we look forward to taking the magazine through its second decade.”
Aero Australia is published quarterly, with the July-September (#43) issue currently on sale. Wilson Media will take over publication of Aero Australia from the next issue.
