TV SOAP, Australia’s leading soap opera magazine celebrates 25 years on news stands!

Launched in 1984, TV SOAP magazine was first published as a monthly until reader demand saw it go fortnightly in 2002.
To mark its 25th birthday milestone, the October 28 issue of TV SOAP magazine features an extra eight pages of the best of
daytime soap and primetime dramas. Relive the most memorable soap weddings, cliffhangers and unforgettable moments.
The anniversary special issue showcases iconic stars, comics and villains of the past 25 years, and reveals the shows that had us glued to our TV screens week after week. Also in this special collector’s edition, TV SOAP sneak previews the biggest
storylines coming up, there are interviews with The Mentalist’s Simon Baker and House star Hugh Laurie, celebrity tips on
how to get a star body plus the ever popular Soap Guide.

Editor Vesna Petropoulos says: “It’s been a wonderfully rewarding experience to be involved with this iconic brand. TV SOAP
magazine has been such a big part of my life since I became Editor in 2001. I’ve seen TV entertainment magazines come and go, but TV SOAP is the original soap publication and is still the top-selling magazine in its category. TV SOAP has a loyal readership; some readers have been with the magazine from the first issue! They know they can depend on TV SOAP to bring them the most up-to-date and accurate information on their favourite soaps and dramas.”

About the magazine: TV SOAP previews upcoming storylines on US daytime soaps The Bold And The Beautiful, Days Of Our
Lives and The Young And The Restless. It also has a strong local element with primetime soaps Home And Away and Neighbours, and dramas including Packed To The Rafters featuring in every issue. There is a strong celebrity content featuring interviews with Hollywood A-listers, lifestyles of the stars, plus news and gossip from behind the scenes of the top-rating shows. The comprehensive Soap Guide, which highlights the best of what’s on TV for that fortnight, is a strong and popular element in the magazine with readers.
