Haymarket Media Pty Ltd is the Australian division of international business and consumer media and information company, Haymarket Media Group, which set up in Australia 12 years ago. It developed a market leading position with a number of technology products including dedicated websites, mobile applications and live events. Haymarket will discontinue direct operations in Australia and focus on business in UK, USA, Asia, India and Europe.
David Gardiner, Chief Executive Officer of nextmedia, said “with the recent investment in nextmedia by Forum Media Group, this is a terrific opportunity for Next to establish a platform in the B2B sector in Australia. CRN and IT News are market leading B2B products that are held in high regard by the industry. They have a terrific team of dedicated staff. These Haymarket products are a great fit with our existing gaming, technology, sport and motoring brands and we will be exploring new licensing opportunities with Haymarket Media Group. We look forward to welcoming the Haymarket staff to Next.”
Jeremy Vaughan, Managing Director of Haymarket Media Pty Ltd said: “We created and developed outstanding brands in Australia that have been recognised through many awards for their market leading products. We are very proud of the talented and dedicated team of people who worked with us, and are pleased to have found a good company in Next for them to prosper”.
