nextmedia acquires OTG magazine

Nextmedia today announced that Golf Australia magazine, Australia’s leading golf publication, has acquired On The Green, the highly successful online golf magazine. On The Green (OTG) magazine, launched in 2011, now boasts nearly 35,000 subscribers, 400,000+ YouTube views and is Australia’s first purely digital golf magazine.

Golf Australia, a respected leader in the Australian golfing m edia since 1987, will expand its offering to readers with a free weekly digital golf magazine,Golf Australia’s OTG express , which will supplement Golf Australia’s printed monthly magazine.

OTG express will cover all the latest news and video highlights from the world of golf. Additionally, it will feature product reviews, video interviews and instruction as well as providing opportunities for readers to have their say.

OTG Express replaces Golf Australia’s current weekly e-newsletter. Golf Australia will continue to publish a 148 to 180 page magazine every month for its 188,000-plus readers, who enjoy exclusive in-depth feature articles, instruction from the
world’s best players as well as dynamic photography and detailed stories of the best places to play golf here and around the world.
